Merlinda Gail (Moody) Declay

Merlinda M. Declay entered eternal rest unexpectedly on November 4th, 2024, in Hondah, Arizona.

Merlinda was born October 17th, 1985, to her parents Danno Moody Sr. and the late Lorita P. Moody.

Merlinda was a very beautiful, humble, loving mother, daughter, niece, and friend. Her gentleness and humor were rare. She loved with great compassion. Merlinda loved to be around family and friends. She enjoyed visiting people and always had a smile on her face.

She is survived by her children, Merkisha, Molly and Mervin Declay Jr.; her father, Danno Moody Sr.; sister, Dana Moody; aunts, Ophelia Moody, Delphine Quintero, Evalina Pusher, and Colleen Moody; uncles, Danny Pusher Sr., Ricky Pusher, Revasco Moody, Raynor Moody, and Raylyn Moody.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Lorita P. Moody; sister, Danielle Miller; and grandmother, Merle Pusher.

Merlinda’s Viewing and Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday November 12th, 2024, from 9:00am to 1:00pm at East Fork Riverside Church. Interment will follow at the Manzanita Cemetery in East Fork.
