Michael Edward Simpson

Michael Edward Simpson, of Pinetop, Arizona, went to be with the Lord on April 23, 2025, at the age of 63.

Michael was born on August 22, 1961, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was a longtime resident of Yuma, Arizona, where he graduated from Yuma High School. Later in life, Michael moved to Pinetop, where he fell in love with the beautiful outdoors, spending cherished time fishing and enjoying the peace of being out on his boat.

Michael had a deep passion for music, a heart devoted to serving the Lord, and a love for people that was evident to all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, David C. Simpson and Manila R. Simpson.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Simpson; his sister, Susan Rush; his two daughters, Sara Simpson and Amy Simpson; his stepchildren, Dustin Fruchey and Tristyn Tozier; and his grandchildren, Noah Simpson, Kaia Simpson, Ryder Fruchey, Elliana Estes, Lilly, Peyton, and Giovani. Michael is also survived by his uncle and aunt, Sheridan and Kristie Roberts.

Michael will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a man of faith whose warmth and kindness touched many lives.
