Michael Jones Thompson

Michael Jones Thompson entered into eternal rest peacefully surrounded by loved ones on January 19, 2024, in Lakeside, Arizona after a long battle with illness.  He was born to Warner and Martha Thompson on November 10, 1951, in Phoenix, Arizona.  Marla and Michael were married for 38 years.  He had a deep Christian faith and shared his love of Jesus to everyone.  He loved Christian and Rock & Roll and would be the first to dance.  He created an invention for perpetual motion, loved gold mining and was an VHAC independent contractor.  He was a Vietnam war veteran.  

Michael was survived by his wife, Marla, two children, two stepchildren, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two brothers, and two sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Warner and Martha Thompson.

Michael’s Celebration of Life will be March 2, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 4839 Vallery Lane, Lakeside, AZ 85929.
