Michaelsen Mckale Ivins entered eternal rest, unexpectedly at the Tucson Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona on February 17, 2022. He was born on January 13, 1988 to Michael Ivins Sr. and Nayda Ivins.
Michaelsen was an extraordinary person who had a contagious smile. He brought joy and laughter with his sense of humor. His personality was one of a kind. He grew up in Cibecue, Arizona. He attended the Chemawa Indian School in Salem, Oregon for three consecutive years. He completed his course of studies at Riverside Indian School in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Michaelsen enjoyed cooking, he was an outdoorsman who liked hunting and fishing. He was athletic and competed in several sports. One of his biggest qualities was being a hard-working family man. He had experience in the following careers: WMAT payroll, WMAT Sunrise Ski Resort, WMAT Forestry, Tero Road Construction and Clear Creek Custom Contracting. “You are loved and missed by many, Michaelsen”
Michaelsen is survived by his parents: Michael Ivins Sr. and Nayda Ivins; children: Trenton, Meela, Necee and Sippriano Ivins; sisters: ReNayda and Mikelle Ivins, Deanna Pina, Fernessa Foster and Tammy Daniels, Heather Ivins and Shawna Henry; brothers: Jessie Ivins, Filmore Ivins, Iverson Ivins and Micah Ivins and Carmichael Tessay and Aaron Foster. He was preceded in death by Alexander and Emma Tessay, Cecil and Myrtle Ivins Sr., Dwight Ivins (brother), Myeshia Ivins (sister) and Michael Ivins Jr. (brother).
A one-night wake will be held on Friday March 4, 2022 at 10am at 110 Another World Drive in Cibecue, AZ. A Home Service will follow on Saturday March 5, 2022 at 10am with interment at the Red Mountain Cemetery in Cibecue, Arizona.
