Newton Thompson III

Newton Thompson III passed away after a long battle of illness, in Fort Defiance, Arizona on October 25th. He was born in Whiteriver, Arizona on May 24th, 1983, to Newton Thompson Jr. and the Dorcine Thompson.

Newton, AKA, "Thumper", liked to ride around in the mountains, and visit the lake. He enjoyed being with his family that he dearly loved.

Newton is survived by his sweet companion Angie Scott, his father-Newton Thompson Jr., 2 sisters-Norcine Massey & Kiana Thompson. His brother Norwyn Thompson, 5 nephews & 5 nieces and many extended family and friends.

Newton was preceded in death by his mom, Dorcine Skidmore Thompson, his brother Jeremiha James, and his grandmother's, Ramona Skidmore and Ethel Thompson.

A one-night wake will be held Friday November 4th starting at 10:00 am at Norcine Massey's residence, 2802 Pedro Ave. in Fort Apache. Funeral service will be held Saturday November 5th at 1:00 pm at the North Fork Miracle Church, and interment to follow at the Skidmore Plot, Round Top, North Fork, Arizona
