Owen William Baldwin

  Owen William Baldwin passed away March 14, 2022 at home with his family at his side.  Owen was born December 27, 1935 in a cabin in Hubbard County, Minnesota to Mary Proffitt and William Baldwin.

He served four years in the Service as a Combat Engineer and received multiple awards and commendations.  He worked many different jobs to earn a living and take care of his family through the years.  He worked for the Arizona Department of Transportation, Highways Division for twenty years.  Upon retirement, he started his own business "Goin' Owen" Surveying, Inc.  This proved to be his nickname many remember him by.  

He is survived by his wife of forty years, Frances Baldwin, Son Gary Baldwin, daughters Lorna (Tim) Goforth, Nicole McClain, Christy (Isaac) Abraham, Lori (Gary) Marak, Shelley (John) Spires, Karen (Joe) Ernest, and Dawn Lippard, sister Viola, and brother Terry Baldwin.  He was preceded in death by his son Todd Baldwin, and three grandchildren.  He has twenty seven grandchildren and many great grandchildren.  

Graveside services will be held at Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery in Taylor, AZ on March 26, 2022 at 11:30 am sharp.
