Renee’ was born in Farmington, New Mexico on August 30th, 1943. She passed away on October 27th, 2022, at 9:41 PM in Holbrook, AZ while enveloped in the love, and warmth of her family and friends. It's hard to write an obituary for one who has sacrificed her entire life for the good of her family, but that was our mom. Renee McGee Maxwell was a stay at home mother for over 20 years before joining Northland Pioneer College in the role of Transcript Evaluator. Renee was a fighter, and a two-time cancer survivor with endeavors to write a memoir with her sister. Renee was loved by everyone in the neighborhood as evidenced every Friday when her five loaves of bread came out of the oven. Filled with empathy, Renee' championed the human connection, and taught us to "look beyond the book cover" when building relationships. Renee' taught us that above all else; there must be compassion and kindness for anyone in need. Renee's childhood friends are loyal to this day stating that she was always kind. Renee was married to Myron Maxwell for 56 years while raising their family. Renee's Legacy of love, kindness and compassion will be a blessing to us all for many generations to come. Renee is survived by her 10 children, her Grand-children and her Great-grand-children. Services will be held on Nov. 5, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the LDS Stake Center, Holbrook AZ.
