Rodney King Wilson went to be with his Lord and Savior into paradise on January 4th, 2022 after battling cancer. Rodney was born in Temple, Texas to loving parents Oscar and Joy Wilson. Rod resided in Tucson, Arizona the majority of his life, he graduated from Amphi High School in 1970. After retirement Rod and Jacqui moved to Pinetop, Arizona. Rod lived his life to serve Jesus, his loving wife Jacqui and his beloved family. He will be dearly missed, but will remain in the hearts of his family forever!
Rod was preceded in death by his parents and sister Judy Wilson. Rod is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jacqui L. Wilson, his father-in-law James Cuneo, whom he loved as a father and his brothers Rich & (Grace) and Ray & (Sandy) Wilson and many nieces and nephews. Rod was the doting father of 5 sons. Jon & (Georgi), Justin & (Ivalee), Joe & (Angela), Jeremy & (Tracy) and Scott & (April). Rod leaves to Jesus’ loving care, his grandchildren, Austin & (Andrea), Kyla, Bret & (Melody), Cheyenne, Troy & (Jocelyn), Izzy, Kyran, Lilly, Ally, Jaxon, and Luken and great-grandchildren Jack, Abraham, Evelyn, and Olivia Wilson.
A memorial service will be held on April 9, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church ; 1901 White Mountain Blvd. in Pinetop, AZ.
