Ronald Lee Bish born January 12, 1941, died April 29, 2025 at his home in Taylor, AZ, surrounded by loved ones. He was 84 years old.
As a child he lived in San Diego and Los Angeles, CA. He graduated from Polly High School in the summer of 1958. After college he worked for the aerospace industry. He started out as a machine operator, then trained to be a computer programmer, and then an analyst, and then finally to management with top secret clearance for the Scunk Works. He worked on the SR 71 and the Space Shuttle.
He married Laura Jean Burr on January 18, 1969, and adopted Loren Matthew in 1972. Erin Lee came along in 1970. Laura and Ron moved to Taylor, AZ in November 1997 and started a stationary business where he retired.
Ron is survived by his wife Laura, Loren, Sandra, Tabbitha, and Sierra Bish; Erin and Evan Amos, Ellie, Chad and Rya Johnson, Eli and Savannah Amos, Ethan, Faith and Brakkon Amos, Eyan Amos and Jurnee Thompson, and Evey Amos.
There will be a viewing at 9am with the funeral service to follow at 10 am on Saturday May 10, 2025 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 301 Love Lake Road in Taylor, AZ. He will then be laid to rest at the Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery in Taylor, AZ.
