Sandra Faye Duncan passed away June 16, 2026 in Snowflake, Arizona at the age of 70.

Sandy was born December 16, 1955 to Ray & Shirley Rieker in Lemmon, South Dakota.  She was raised in Lemmon and attended Lemmon High School and was active in band and always played “Taps” for the Memorial Day Service. 

She had one son, James Raymond Tri Duncan.  While living in Red Wing, Minnesota she met and married Jeffrey Duncan and together they owned and operated “Duke’s Bar”.  They moved to Prescott, Arizona, in 1983 and bought the Juniper House Restaurant.  Sandy’s outgoing personality made her a favorite among all the customers.     After retiring from the restaurant business.  Jeff and Sandy LOVED to travel in their motor home and spent many winters in Rocky Point, Mexico they also traveled to join Jeff’s Navy buddies at their Submarine Reunion. 

She is survived by her son James Duncan, 4 grandchildren, 2 sisters; Sharon Crevier of Lemmon, SD, Stacy (Michael) MacArthur) Show Low, AZ, 2 brothers; Randy Rieker of Coalville, UT, Raymond Rieker (Connie) of Faith, SD, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jeffrey Duncan, parents, Ray and Shirley Rieker, and her brother Richard “Rick” Rieker.

Funeral Services will be conducted at the VA Cemetery in Prescott, AZ on July 17, 2026 at 2:00 pm.
