Obituary

Sharon Kay Ivins entered eternal rest on August 26, 2023, in Cibecue, Arizona surrounded by loved ones after a long battle of illness. Sharon was born November 16, 1964, to her parents the late Cecil and Myrtle W. Ivins Sr. She grew up in Cibecue and later moved to Fremont, California with her foster parents. Sharons hobbies were reading and cooking. She worked for the Cibecue School District for 20 plus years as a T.A. and office manager. She also was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved her children, grandchildren, siblings, and extended family members. She will be missed dearly. Sharon is survived by her children, Christopher and Wynette Smith, Fernando Smith Jr, and Jeremy Smith; Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Myrtle Ivins Sr.; brothers, Ronnie, Randy, Darrell and Philbert Ivins Sr. There will be a one-night wake held in her honor on Thursday, September 7th, 2023, at 10 a.m. at the family home located at 205 E. Hollywood Hills Cibecue, Arizona. Funeral home services with be held the following day, Friday September 8th, 2023, at 1 p.m. at the LDS Church in Cibecue, Arizona.  Graveside services will be immediately after funeral service at Salt Creek Cemetery in Cibecue, Arizona.
