Suzanne “Suzi” Hughes passed away at home in Taylor, Arizona on June 12, 2025, after a battle with cancer. She was born on February 15, 1955, in Lordsburg, New Mexico to Dewey and Sarah Bryce.
Suzi had many joys in life which included taking her grandkids on trips, visiting with her friends and family, and sewing and quilting. She even taught her daughter and granddaughters to sew and crochet. Suzi also served 2 missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in her life, one in Alaska and the other in New England. She was a teacher for many years, and she taught students in Preschool to 3rd grade. She especially enjoyed the students and teachers in 2nd grade.
Suzi is survived by her husband Jesse Hughes, children Audrey (Dennis) Lewis, Ben (Gwen) Hughes, Todd (MaLeisa) Hughes, Scott Hughes along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Dan Bryce, Keith Bryce and sisters Beverly Hepner, Jodi Kinnison, and Mary Ann Sawyer.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday June 21, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Silver Creek Stake Center in Taylor, Arizona at 11 am with a viewing at 10 am. Interment to follow service at the Reed Hatch Cemetery in Taylor, Arizona.
