Teele Jay Reidhead

Teele Jay Reidhead was born on October 9, 1959 in Snowflake, Arizona to Doy J Reidhead and Leone Vilate Pearce Reidhead. Teele was adventurous and full of life. He loved to know what was going on around him and was always observant. Teele was a cowboy at heart and spent a large portion of his life riding and roping. He married Elizabeth Jordan on February 3, 1978 and they had 6 children. Crystal, Jessica, Amanda, Royal, Doy Jay, and RaLee. Teele worked for his dad as a cowboy for several years until part of the ranch was sold. He then moved to Heber in 1989 and continued to ranch all along the Mogollon Rim. His boss bought a ranch in New River, AZ in 1991 so Teele moved his family to the desert. They returned to Holbrook for 2 years and then Teele moved his family to the heart of the city in 1993 where he worked for Pulice Construction. This did not last long as Teele went to build and manage a roping arena for his brother Mike in Queen Creek. Later, Teele returned to working construction. He drove a water truck on construction sites in various places in the Phoenix valley. He continued to rope throughout this time and always had a cow or two. Teele never knew a stranger and made many great friends throughout his life. Teele and Liz divorced in 2011. A few years later, Teele came to visit his mom where he saw a beautiful lady at church. A few months went by and with a little nudging, Carolyn Brinkerhoff sent him a text. This started a whirlwind relationship that resulted in them both marrying the loves of their life on November 2, 2019. Teele loved and adored Carolyn and that love was reciprocated to him. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Snowflake, Arizona temple on May 23, 2020. This marriage brought Teele back to Holbrook where he spent many days with his amazing wife and his family. Teele passed away on December 26, 2024 surrounded by loved ones. 

He is survived by his wife Carolyn Brinkerhoff Reidhead, his children Crystal (Jason) Castillo, Jessica Caldwell, Amanda (John) Griggs, Royal (Charlene) Reidhead, Doy Jay (Amber) Reidhead, and RaLee Reidhead, his step-children Christen (Clint) Haddox and Jason Harris, his 21 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, his mother, Leone Reidhead, along with 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

Services will be held on January 2, 2025 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Holbrook Arizona at 10:00 a.m. with a viewing at 9:00 that morning. A luncheon will immediately follow.
