Tilford Hopper

Tilford Hopper went to be with the Lord on August 21, 2021 at his home in Seven Mile, Arizona.  He was born March 3, 1946 to Jimmy Hopper and Sadie Grace Hopper.  He was born in Bylas, AZ and raised there until he was 7 years old and moved to Whiteriver, AZ, where he remained until his passing.  He enjoyed watching football, especially the Dallas Cowboys, and wrestling; and helping family and friends with whatever they needed.  He liked to dance, going to Sunrise Dances, laugh, fish, but enjoyed attending Church the most.  He worked at the sawmill in Whiteriver for many years.

Tilford is survived by his children:  Ricky John, Marlin Hopper Sr., Randy Barbosa, Kelly Baylish, Frankie Clarkson, and Gracie Gregg; 19 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 daughters-in-law:  Carolyn Hopper and Isa Clarkson and goddaughters:  Tammy Nosie, Tia Cromwell, Sharon Harvey and Makayla Lupe.  He was preceded in death by his wife; Viola Hopper; parents:  Jimmy and Sadie Grace Hopper and goddaughter:  Lea Johnson.

A wake was held on August 27, 2021 at 2517 Fort Apache Rd. in Seven Mile, AZ.  The Funeral Service was held at the East Fork Lutheran church in East Fork, AZ.  Interment was at the East Fork Cemetery in East Fork, AZ.
