Victoria Beatty Obituary

Victoria Beatty “Vicky” born on January 4th, 1964, in Whiteriver. Arizona, and entered into eternal rest on January 4th, 2023, at Chandler Regional Medical Center, Chandler, AZ.

Vicky attended the Whiteriver School District, Whiteriver Elementary and Junior High then moved to Phoenix, AZ where she attended Phoenix Indian High School and graduated in 1982.

After high school she attended Bacone College in Muskogee, Oklahoma, she graduated with an associate degree in social Work afterwards she attended The University of Oklahoma.

Throughout her life she held many jobs, she worked for the White Mountain Apache Tribe in different capacities, with Social Services, the Fort Apache Timber Company and the Whiteriver Police Department, her employment was with Whiteriver Indian Hospital.  With her employment at the Whiteriver Police Department she began working as a Detention Officer after attending and graduating -from FLETC-Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers in Artesia, New Mexico she became a Law Enforcement Officer and served on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation.

Vicky will be brought back to her residence at 4313 North Potter Street in the Diamond Creek Community, Whiteriver, Arizona on January 13th, 2023, at 10:00 AM.  A one-night wake will be held in her honor and home services will begin at 10:00 AM on January 14th, 2023, burial services will be held at the Morning Dove Cemetery in Cedar Creek, Arizona. 

Her survivors are: Sister Norma J. Kitcheyan, brother-in law Gary Kitcheyan; Her Brother, Jimmie Beatty Sr. & sister-in-law Rechanda Beatty, her uncle Lowell Altaha, 8 nieces, 9 nephews and grandchildren.  She had many cousins and relatives, the Beatty family from Cibecue, AZ as well as many close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Victor Beatty, Renee Altaha, her brother Sace Alchesay and her niece Jetton Beatty.

The family thanks all that have helped during their loss and extend a warm welcome to all.
