Bill has been with Silver Creek Mortuary since 2017 and started in the funeral profession in 2002 in Seattle, Washington.  It was during that time he met Shannon, was married and started his family while he was attending mortuary school in Oregon.  Upon graduating from mortuary school in Oregon, he and his family spent 12 years in Casper, Wyoming.  Bill and Shannon have been blessed with five wonderful children and moving to Snowflake has been a tremendous blessing to them.  When not at work, Bill enjoys spending time with his family.

Austin Larson

Funeral Director/Assistant Manager

Austin was born and raised in Chandler, AZ, but has strong family ties to Snowflake.  Visiting his grandparents that live in Snowflake was one of his favorite things to do as a child, so he was excited to have the opportunity to move here and serve the community as an adult. Austin married his best friend soon after arriving home from his mission and they have four amazing boys. In his spare time, Austin enjoys camping, fishing, and hiking with his family.

Jill Campbell

Office Manager

Jill Renee’ Campbell came to the White Mountains with her family in 2015 after a successful career working in IT management for Fortune 500 companies including Circle K, America West and PetSmart.  Jill’s new vocation is as an ordained minister, June 2020.  Jill is the Office Manager of our office in Taylor, Arizona.  Her work at the mortuary is not just office work but an extension of her ministry.  She is warm, caring and a great listener.  She will do everything she can to help families through a very difficult time in their lives.

Steve A. Self

Funeral Assistant

Steve has been with us here at Silver Creek Mortuary & Crematory since December, 2014.  He is a local Arizonan, and grew up down in the San Pedro Valley in St. David, where he attended and graduated from St. David High School. Steve later attended and graduated from Eastern Arizona College in Thatcher Arizona, where he met and married his best friend, Melanie Webb from Snowflake. They have 3 fantastic children and have made their home there in Snowflake. Steve came to us with a background in insurance, office management, pizzerias and construction. He is a licensed cremationist and also assists with funeral services. To better serve you, we are extremely happy to have someone of Steve’s caliber, as part of our professional loving and caring staff.

Karsen Decker

Funeral Assistant

Karsen returned to his hometown of Taylor after leaving to attend college. In that time away from home, he also worked in many places across the country with a company that helped people keep pests out of their homes. Since returning to the White Mountains, Karsen has enjoyed helping Snowflake Jr. High and Snowflake High School with their wrestling programs, learning to play guitar, and meeting the woman whom he married. Karsen and his wife, Cora, are planning on starting a family soon. At Silver Creek Mortuary, Karsen helps families design headstones that stand as a monument for their loved ones.

Anastacia Judd

Secretary

Anastacia moved to the White Mountains in 2014 where she later met her best friend and married him in 2015. They have two God fearing little boys ages 6 and 7. They love camping, fishing, and geocaching whenever they can. Anastacia also enjoys Bible Journaling where she slows down and focuses on God’s word helping her gain a deeper understanding of the message. She creates a personal connection with God by reflecting on passages that resonate with her.  Her family is a circle of strength founded by Faith joined by Love and kept by God. You can find Anastacia in our Pinetop office assisting families with their funeral arrangements.
